
Toffah wins Audi Invitational Golf

Saddik Toffah scored 41 points to win the First Audi Invitational Golf Championship played at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Saturday.
David Owen took the second position with 40 points, while the third position went to J.O. Amoako who had 36 points, with Geoff Fisher placing fourth
with 35 points after he beat Simran Oberoi on count-back In the Ladies encounter, Joy Arkutu came first with 34 points followed by Mona Myers-Lamptey
with 33 points, Esther Antwi placed third with 32 points, beating Victoria Adjei on count-back while Mary Asafu-Adjaye took the fifth position with
31 points. About 100 golfers took part in the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition which was sponsored by Stallion Motors Ghana Limited. Naval
Captain Kojo Butah, Vice President of the Achimota Golf Club, commended the competitors for exhibiting good sportsmanship throughout the competition
and urged them to keep up the spirit. He thanked the company for sponsoring the championship and expressed the hope that they would continue to
offer further support for the development of the sport in the country.
